A Little (BIG) Legacy :]

In recent weeks, Raging Red had the opportunity to perform for, and promote the new Roene B. DiFiore Center for Arts and Education, here in Saint George. "Mrs. D," as she is known by her loving students, left a huge imprint at Dixie State College with her love of music and Dixie Spirit. I never met her personally, as she died when I was just 1 year old, but just being near the music dept. at Dixie State and meeting with the Program Bureau veterans, I can feel her presence there. Below is the link for the facebook page for the RBD Center--it has such a great cause in educating and uplifting young children! Take a look at their page in the Info section, and you can see a wee bit about Mrs. D and her influence on the college, the students, and the spirit of both. She wrote this beautiful, touching song, now sung at every Graduation ceremony, called "Just For Now."

Thank You Roene DiFiore, for leaving a legacy so strong, that students like me, over 20 years later, are still affected.
